RELATIONSHIP GUIDE

.. written by Hilary Ezeh

Relationship occurs between two or more individuals who has similarities in thought, dreams, likes or interest. To be in a relationship, one has to be willing to adjust and adapt some characteristics. Relationship shouldn't be a sole responsibility to maintain by one partner.

Most relationship now is having some sort of rough edge because of a torn called "expectations". With the high level of "how I want it to be" and "what it should be", a lot of relationship is falling even in marriage.

Relationship is supposed to be an avenue or a point of "tutor and learning". It is to learn and understand some new characters and unlearn some former ones so as to accommodate one another. No one is alpha in a relationship that's why it requires two or more individuals.

Relationship should be seen and accepted as an institution, an arena for social and extra moral acquisition. Therefore, it shouldn't start with high expectations especially towards individualistic prowess and it should also give room for "self expression".

Most important traits for healthy relationship:

1. COMMUNICATION
Communication is of utmost importance and is the base of relationship. Many couples and individuals don't take communication seriously and this somehow creates a hole in their relationship. Some tends to suppress their feelings when they are hurt or angry and they give each other the silent treatment instead of communicating and resolving issues. This makes things worse and most times collapses the relationship.

2. ATTENTION
Giving attention to your partner and listening to all that they have to say is as important as expressing your feelings to them. Every individual deserves attention, that makes them feel belonged(feel like family). Attention should be a daily gift in a relationship and it is the path for understanding your partner.

3. TRUST
Trust is one of the most important ingredients of a happy and healthy relationship. Trust is the most important gift in life, though it seems uncertain most times. Trust makes every relationship firm and it brings a lot of confidence.

4. Respect
Respecting the individuality of your partner is another important thing in a relationship. Respect shows value, it's shows how important your partner is to you. Respect brings balance in a relationship.

5. LOVE
Love is the act of understanding, accepting and submission of ones wills and prowess to accommodate another. Love is the most important trait in a relationship. Love should be unconditional.

Thank you for reading and I do hope this is good enough to improve and make your relationship healthy. Please do check back for more interesting topics and asks questions if any at the comment box.

Stop sit-up exercise

The sit-up is an effective exercise for anyone who wants to train both the abdominals and hip flexors. However, it’s also been shown to impose extremely large compression forces on the discs in your spine. That’s a problem. Bend a wire coat hanger back and forth and, eventually, it will snap. You can’t predict in advance exactly how many bends it will take before it breaks. But you know it’s going to happen sooner or later. Likewise, the discs in your spine can only tolerate so many bending cycles before the accumulated damage manifests itself in the form of pain. Sit-ups may not damage your spine right away. But each set could be moving you one step closer to a crippling back injury that keeps you out of the gym for some time. There are also better abs exercises to choose from. In fact, certain exercises have been shown, in some studies anyway, to work the abdominal muscles harder than sit-ups. These abdominal exercises not only work your stomach muscles but they increase the st...

A Calabar girl is a combination of all.” On the issue of premarital sex, she agrees it is essential to know what your boyfriend is working with before marriage. Health benefit one 1 banana a day

Bananas are good for bowel regularity and satiety Adding a banana to your daily diet has an array of benefits in your body. Bananas help you reach your weight-loss goals, keep your bowels healthy, provide nutrients that regulate heart rhythm and have vitamin compounds for eye health. Keep a bunch of bananas on your desk at work and replenish your stock each week. You’ll be more likely to reach for a healthy banana — instead of heading to the vending machine — if you have a bunch sitting in front of you. Weight Loss Finding foods to fit into your weight-loss diet can be challenging, but bananas make a perfect fit. Bananas are naturally sweet and can help curb your sweet tooth if you get that afternoon sugar craving. A 6-inch banana has a minimal 90 calories, about one-fourth of the calories you would get from a chocolate candy bar. Additionally, about half of the fiber content in bananas is soluble. When soluble fiber reaches your digestive tract, it absorbs water...
